Sharjah, UAE 24 MAY 2021: Construction of the first phase of Sharjah Sustainable City has surpassed 65% completion, marking a significant milestone in the development of the region’s first fully integrated sustainable residential community in Sharjah.
Developed through a partnership between the Sharjah Investment and Development Authority (Shurooq) and Diamond Developers, Sharjah Sustainable City is the Emirate’s first fully integrated sustainable residential community, designed to meet the highest standards of environmental and social sustainability.
Jeet Construction is delivering the project with a strong focus on sustainable construction practices and high-performance infrastructure. The development integrates 100% solar energy generation, comprehensive water recycling systems, and advanced waste management solutions, significantly reducing the community’s environmental footprint.
The project also incorporates urban farming areas, green spaces, and pedestrian-friendly mobility solutions, supporting a healthier and more sustainable lifestyle for residents.
Once completed, Sharjah Sustainable City will set a new benchmark for sustainable residential development in Sharjah, demonstrating how innovative engineering and responsible construction practices can contribute to more resilient communities in the UAE.
